Welcome to the Compton Marbling website!

Solveig Stone runs the company and has 35 years’
experience making hand marbled paper. She produces an
extensive range of products covered in her papers includ-
ing albums, storage boxes, sketch and blank books, lamp-
shades, tablemats and diaries. She supplies hand marbled
papers to bookbinders, conservationists, paper specialists
and furniture restorers around the world.

The premises are in a fine quadrangle of 19th century
stone barns on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset.

Clementine, Solveig’s daughter, has recently opened a new shop in the barns, with a website coming soon.
